History

Founded in 1970, Casa Merlos begins a gastronomic journey with its casseroles buffet with home delivery service, the quality on food preparation was immediately recognized. Due to its success Casa Merlos first opened its doors in 1985 as a restaurant specialized in the eighteenth-century Puebla cuisine, not to mention the famous casseroles buffet.

For over 35 years this place has created a culinary magic through the hands of chef Lucila Molina de Merlos. Her work as a cook and researcher of the ancient secrets of this cuisine, has allowed her to create contributions to a gastronomy nominated to receive tribute and being recognized as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO.
